Business with our name in another state, same field?

We do not have a DBA as we live in an unincorporated place in Texas, so we thought we did not need one. We have been around since 2009. This person just put up a facebook page with a company name almost identical to ours and is in the same field of work. I do not want this company to be confused with ours. IS their anything I can do? Going to file a DBA today, as the company name is unregistered to anyone. The other company is in another state. Should I send a cease and desist?
