Does this book sound like something you would read?

So I'm thinking about starting a new novel project and I want some feedback before really plunging into it. So it takes place in Victorian England and follows a circus troupe, some of which are immortal. My main character is immortal but she isn't told until about halfway through the book. I have all these "rules" for immortals like under what circumstances they can be killed and things like that. These nobles of England who know about the immortals want to kill the main character and those who are immortal in her circus family because this whole elaborate scandal that happened with the MC's father. I know it's kinda confusing right now and sounds pretty lame, but I'm trying to give you the gist without giving too much away :)
